Wellness & Counselling

In a world trapped in a performance discourse, little attention is given to well-ness and well-being. Growth and resilience need a supporting environment, internally en externally. You are invited to self-care, reflection and responsible action. Your voice counts and you have the pen to re-write your own story.

Both Face-to-face and online (Teams or Zoom) based services are available.

Finger labyrinth

What is a labyrinth?

  • A labyrinth is a means of entering a space of reflection and prayer.
  • It consists of a single path that twists and turns, leading to the centre point. The return is on the same path.
  • They are an ancient archetype dating back 4,000 years or more, used symbolically, as a walking meditation, choreographed dance, or site of rituals and ceremony, among other things.
  • Labyrinths are tools used for personal, psychological and spiritual transformation.
  • They also enhance right-brain activity. They are closely associated with the concept of spiritual pilgrimage.
  • People walk the labyrinth for many reasons. Some do it to relax, some as a walking meditation, some just for fun.
  • Labyrinths evoke metaphor, sacred geometry, spiritual pilgrimage, religious practice, mindfulness, environmental art, and community building.
  • Labyrinths are used in a variety of settings such as schools, hospitals, retreat centres, churches, prisons, and public places like parks.
