Elna is a registered Industrial Psychologist (PS59668) and Life Coach, and a Human Resources Consultant. In addition, she is a wife and a mother, who loves reading, learning, engaging people and who believes in God.
What energises her? Serving people, living out her purpose, having independence and choice. In addition, listening to and helping people, reaching out to others, and helping them to craft and realise an exciting and inspiring future for themselves. Further, helping individuals and businesses to see things differently, identifying opportunities for growth, co-creating and designing tailor made solutions that take individuals and businesses to the next level. During her career, she has managed an Aptitude Testing Unit for a gold mine and a Learning and Development for various departments. She worked as a Business Process Re-Engineering Consultant at Knox D’Arcy, where they focused on business improvement and optimisation. She was employed by Amalgamated Beverage Industries as Consulting Psychologist, responsible for developing selection and development approaches for selection and promotion within the business context. Her Recruitment Managerial duties include the following responsibilities: recruitment and talent management throughout the business. Subsequent to ABI merging with SABMiller, she was responsible for talent management for Sales, Distribution and Marketing, across the Beer and Soft drinks businesses. She has extensive experience working with and at the level of, Managing Directors and Executive Directors, and throughout the business. Elna is highly proficient at understanding the importance of aligning the HR Strategy and Value chain to business strategies. She has implemented talent management throughout a business, which contributed to culture and organisational job fit changes that contributed towards organisational growth. Having worked and consulted in various industries gives her a proclivity towards understanding different business context and developing tailored solution that supports the achievement of business objectives.

She is an eternal student at heart. As a result, she holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Psychology and has a wealth of experience in integrated talent management across the Human Resources value chain. She is also a qualified Coach and Career Path Appreciation Practitioner. She is also furthering her skills in organisational development and has recently completed the Bioss Anchor-Chain™ Change management training. In addition, she is currently studying towards a Diploma in Biblical Counselling. Her specific interests are positive psychology, neuroscience, appreciative inquiry, and qualitative techniques. Elna is also furthering her skills in organisational development and has recently completed the Bioss Anchor-Chain™ Change management training. As part of continuous professional development, she has completed a study tools programme for learners and career guidance workshop for learners and adults. In addition, she is currently studying towards a Diploma in Biblical Counselling. Her specific interests are positive psychology, neuroscience, appreciative inquiry, and qualitative techniques.
